These clients wanted to maximize the color in their backyard around the patio. They have deer and other leaf-eating pests as neighbors, so we chose plants that they don’t eat — the colorful astilbe, bountiful catmint, tall irises, and roses.

Where there used to be high maintenance hedges there are now flowers that bring wonderful smells and colors all spring and summer.
